She was born Aug. 23, 1943, in Oak Park, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Hacker) Jacobia. She married Morris Heatherly on Feb. 2, 1980, in Roselle. Bonnie was a member of Crosswind Community Church where she enjoyed playing the organ and piano for Sunday services.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years; two sons, Eric Hanssen and Dennis Heatherly; six grandchildren; sister, Marjo (Dennis) Brooks; cat, Cookie; and other family members.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2010, in Crosswind Community Church, 13100 Cherry St., Genoa, with Pastor James P. Freund officiating.
