Joe was married to his beloved wife, Melissa, for 18 years and they were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Brie, age 14 and Meagan, age 13. They had made their home in Duluth, Georgia for about the last nine months of his life. Joe will always be remembered for his compassionate ministry and for his love of music, sports, friendships, and his tremendous love for his family.

Also, among his survivors were his sisters, Dora and Nancy and his brothers, John, Mike, Jimmy, Chad, and Mark. He was, also, survived by his extended family and friends too numerous to even count.

A celebration of Joe's life was held at The Salvation Army Lawrenceville, Georgia Corps on March 16, 2010 with his interment following at the Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia.

Joe was much loved and is so missed by all. But, he now sings in Heaven's choir with the angels. Joseph Anderson died at age 46.
