Mildred B. Ahntholz was born on January 4, 1914 to John and Jennie (Banks) Larsen at Varina, Iowa. She attended schools in Minnesota and Iowa. On January 27, 1944 she was united in marriage to Fred Ahntholz at Newell, Iowa. She was a member of Nain Lutheran Church at Newell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two sisters: Lucille Reidy of Oklahoma and Jeanette Cook of Maryland; several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Delores Jarvis of San Francisco, California.
