Katheryn Marie Amos, 84, died Thursday at Heritage House Convalescent Center, Shelbyville. Born on August 16, 1915, in Fairland, she was the daughter of Harry K. and Nellie Edna (Lee) Russell. She married Henry Denison on May 30, 1935. He preceded her in death in 1965. She married Floyd Amos on October 12, 1978. He preceded her in death in 1995. Mrs. Amos was a homemaker and worked as a private duty nurse for 10 years. She was a member of the Shelbyville First Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by two stepdaughters, three sisters, two step-sons and one brother. Survivors include a son, Larry K. Denison, Shelbyville; two stepdaughters Mildred Sprague, Monticello, Illinois and Dorothy Perkin, Bemant, Illinois; 15 step-grandchildren, and one grandchild.
Funeral services Monday at the Carmony-Ewing Broadway Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Bohall officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
