McLACHLEN, George Wayne Born April 2, 1950, passed away suddenly at home on March 16, 2010. Beloved husband of Gloria Smith, father of Darren McLachlen and Tammy McLachlen; husband Willie, and grandfather to Nicholas and Aidan. Step father of Christine and Cindy Smith; husband Jeff Hillis, and step- grandfather to Joshua and Shai-Lynn. Brother to Debra Ellis; husband Mark, uncle to Greg and Nina. Brother to Patricia Anderson; husband Gary, uncle to Jeff and Chris. Step brother Dan Metcalfe and wife Brenda, sons Derek, Dustin and Doug. Great Uncle to 7 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Hugh James McLachlen, loving mother Bernice Metcalfe, brother James and sister Elizabeth McLachlen. Will be missed dearly by immediate family, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Wayne was extremely dedicated to his work in the Construction Industry, he was well respected by his customers whom he always gave of himself with the best service he could provide. Expressions of sympathy donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation appreciated.
