"Mrs. Blanch Comer-Huston (Houston), daughter of D.B. Comer, died at her home in Boulder, Colorado, died from diphtheria, Monday, September 12, 1921. Mr. Huston and the two children were quarantined and owing to the nature of the disease, the funeral was private.

Her sister, Miss Louise and brother, Phil, were also under quarantine.

The deceased was born in Mound City June 30, 1890 and became the wife of W.G. Houston November 7, 1917.

She is survived by her husband and two children, Sheldon, age nine, and Barbara, aged four; her father, D.B. Comer, and sister, Miss Louise and brother, Phil, and a sister, Mrs. Edith Cornwell, of Trenton, MO."
