While serving with the 323 Service Group in the Airforce in India, George Concieved and invented a tire Puller, which enabled an aircraft tire to be changed in 10 - 15 minutes, instead of a 3-4 hour back breaking labor.
George was an outstanding welder, He replaced a missing tail of one plane with that from another disabled plane whose tail was good, enabling the airforce to have another plane in the air.
George was recommended for the legion of merit, and discharged as a permanant Technical Sargent with outstanding service above and beyond the call of duty.
