Harry C. Elliott, a longtime Bingen resident, died Aug. 2, 1995, in White Salmon, at the age of 70.
Mr. Elliott was born June 20, 1925, and Cass Lake, Minn., to Johanna (Wille) and Frank Elliott. He grew up in Minnesota. He spent 2½ in the Navy. After his discharge he moved back to Minnesota, where he lived until moving to the Bingen/White Salmon area in 1965. He worked as a heavy equipment operator at Broughton's Mill in Willard for 21 years. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Elliott is survived by his wife Ilo Elliott, Bingen; daughters Audrey King, Valley, Gayle Clausen, and Renee Mahon, both of Forks; sons Harry J. Elliott, Forks, and Karl Elliott, Carson; step-sons Mike Vorce and Rick Vorce, both of Lyle, and Steve Vorce, Bingen; sisters Delverna Stilwell, Laporte, Minn., and Margaret Minty, Cass Lake, Minn.; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
Graveside services for Mr. Elliott were held Friday, Aug. 4, 1995, at 3 p.m. at Chris Zada Cemetery in Underwood, with Rev. Steve Barnes officiating. Memorials may be given to the Skyline Foundation.
Arrangements were handled by Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon.
