Jefferson Eugene Bedenbaugh, 89, formerly of Prosperity, widower of Sparta Bowers Boozer, died July 5, 2003 at Saluda Nursing Center. Born in Prosperity, Mr. Boozer was a son of the late Jefferson Irvin and Florence Harmon Boozer. Mr. Boozer was survived by a daughter, Peggy Jean Killian of Prosperity; two sons, Rudy J. Boozer of Prosperity and Jimmy J. Boozer of Augusta, Ga.; seven granddaughters; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a great-great-grandchild. Burial was in St. Luke's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
