Agnes Marie Steele is the daughter of Marion G. Steele and Sitha Jane Koger of Ider, Alabama Dekalb County on Sand Mountain. Her grandparents are, Gains Steele (1856-1892) and Nancy Ann Blevins (1858-1894) of Deerhead Cove Dekalb County, Alabama....Robert Morris Koger (1854-1941) and Laura Ann Boydston (1866-1943) Ider, Alabama. Her siblings are ; Monford Carlton Steele, Herbert Violen Steele, Clifford Atwood Steele, and Lilian Aline Steele. These are the one's that I know of. Agnes Marie Steele's parents married on 25 December 1907 Dekalb County, Alabama. Agnes married Clifford Leo York in 1938 Dekalb County. They had two children together....Kenneth Wilburn York and Martha "Gail" York and five grandchildren. Agnes and Clifford were members of the Ider Eastern Star and members of the Ider Missionary Baptist Church. They lived in Ider all their lives and are loved and missed by family and friends...they will be remembered. Grandchildren....... Bryan Lloyd Williamson (1978-2017) and Nikinia Marshell Underwood (1990-1990); Angelia Williamson Smith and Allen Clifford Williamson.
