Mrs. H. T. Kennedy, 64, a resident of Navarro County for many years, died at the family residence at Pickett at 12:15 Thursday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at the Dawson Methodist Church Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock with Rev. J. F. Adams of Fort Worth and Rev. R. W. Mason conducting the rites. The body will remain at the home until the funeral.

Surviving are her husband; four sons, Joe H. Kennedy, Houston; Charles Kennedy, Houston; Berry Kennedy, Lubbock and Riley Kennedy, Lamesa; four daughters Mrs. Tom Walters, Pickett; Mrs. J. L. Mann, Corsicana; Mrs. O. C. Whatley, Houston and Mrs. Ed Lawson, Eagle Pass and one half-brother, J. W. Abbott, Elk City, Okla; 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Mrs. Kennedy was born in Alabama but moved to Navarro County at an early age, and had resided here since that time.
