Barbara Irene Strick was known to me and my siblings as Aunt Irene. Together, with her sister, Mamie, (SEE: MARY BENES) they were known to us as 'Aunties'. Mamie and Irene never had children of their own. We were their grand-nephews and niece and they treated us like gold. Irene loved family. Blood relations were the most important to her and no offense was ever too great to break that bond. She was loving and good to me and my siblings.
