Harold Akers, a former 34-year resident of Colton, a 22-year resident of Tucson, Arizona and died on December 21, 1981 in Loma Linda at the age of 75. He graduated from Colton High School in 1927 where he was a track star, and was a carman for the Pacific Fruit Express for 32 years. He was survived by his wife, Geraldine Akers of Tucson, Arizona and his son,Gregory Akers of Fountain Valley. Knopsnyder Mortuary is in charge of the funeral arrangements with graveside services at 2:30 p.m. at Montecito Memorial Park on December 23, 1981.

in WORLD CONNECT, there is a Harold Akers who is born about 1906 to Charles Homer Akers and Linnie Frances Davis, both of Missouri, one of their two children. This might be him, but it doesn't agree with his mother's maiden name of Clements.
