Avalyn Shaye Bright, Age 2 years old, of Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2010 after having complications with Tonsillectomy surgery.
Avelyn, was born on November 20, 2007.
Ava was preceded in death by her grandmother, Iris Jeanette Bright and great-grandfather, Charlie Bledsoe.
She is survived by: Parents - Jim and Krista Bright, Grandparents - James H. and Freda Bright, Don and Regina Young, and Jim and Charlotte Rhodes
Great-grandparents - Evelyn Bledsoe, Delbert Bright, Gloria Kemp, Donna Rhodes and Sue S. Young.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the Bond Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Jim Bright, James H. Bright, Jim Rhodes and Don Young. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Stemmer, Joshua Young, Terry L. Rhodes and Tyler Hutton.
A memorial fund has been established at SunTrust Bank in memory of Ava, donations may be made at any branch.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the Bond Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
