CPL Ralph Francis Baril died at his home in Claremont, NH on October 12, 2000. He was born in Windsor, VT on December 21, 1922; the son of John B (Jean Baptiste) and Virginia Marie (Cyr) Baril.

He was a graduate of Windsor High School. He served as a Corporal in the U S Army during WWII. He lived in Claremont most of his life. He was retired from Joy Mfg Co where worked as a machinist for thirty seven years.

He married Margaret Olive Beaulieu on June 21, 1947 in Claremont.

He was preceded in death by daughter Katrina Waterman, three brother Eugene Baril, Raymond Baril, and Earl Baril, and three sisters Prusha Helie, Alice Johnson, and Doris LaGraves.

Survivors include his wife; son Richard Baril of Cornish, NH; daughter Nancy Lizotte; brother John Baril of Windsor, VT; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
