Arville Stanley Grabill, 67, of Osterburg RD1, died Sunday, April 2, 1989 at Bedford County Memorial Hospital.

He was born August 12, 1921 in Imler, son of Stanley M. and Daisy C. (Claar) Grabill. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Burkett) Grabill and these children: Jeffrey Fleck, Washington State; Pamela Sharp, New Paris; Charles Fleck, at home; Kenneth and Kurt Nicodemus, both of Osterburg; and Kerry Nicodemus, Imler, RD.

Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Howard and Larry, both of Imler; Perry of Sproul; Janet Ickes and Shirley May both of Imler; Charlotte Smith and Evelyn Calaman both of New Paris; Gary and Robert both of Ohio; Mary Seymour, Blue Knob; Carol Kelman, Portage; Arlene Martin and Darlene Wentz both of Alum Bank; Beverly Quinn of Texas; Stanley Jr of Everett; Violet Colebaugh of Osterburg; and Melva Grabill of Altoona.

He was preceded in death by a stepson Kevin Nicodemus.

He was a member of the Claysburg Church of the Brethern and a life member of the National Rifel Association. He was retired from General Refractories, Claysburg, and was a vetern of WWI.

Funeral Services: 11 am Wednesday, April 5 at Edward Blackburn Funeral Home, Pleasentville with Rev. William Eicher. Burial in Imler Valley Cemetery. Military rites by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.

Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9. Tuesday at the funeral home
