Death in any home is always a sad bereavement but especially so when it claims as its victim a sweet little child that is not only loved by the household but also by all who knew it. It is our sad duty to record today such a case. The grim spectra invaded the home of Mr. and Mrs. Findley Edwards, of Woodward avenue this morning at two o'clock and carried away the spirit of Ione Leah, only six years of age. This child was an unusually pretty and bright one, and as a neighbor expressed it:"She was the prettiest and sweetest child in Wicksboro." The bereaved parents have the sincere sympathy of all in their great loss. As she died of diphtheria no funeral can be held but the remains will be buried Tuesday afternoon at 1:30.
