Diana M Stroup, 66, of Shelbyville, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, in Orlando, Fla.
Born Dec. 10, 1943, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Jesse "Jay" and Dolly K. (Wagner) Simpson. She married Dale Stroup on July 7, 1977, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Pamela (husband, Brian) Huseman of Davenport, Fla.; a son, Robin (wife, Sheila) Theobald of Greensburg; a sister, Nancy Cortelyou of Shelbyville; a brother, Bill (wife, Sandy) Simpson of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and longtime friend, Joan Harris.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Wayne Theobald; and a brother, Robert Simpson.
Mrs. Stroup had retired from Knauf Insulation in 2006 and was a part-time employee at Indiana Downs.
She was cremated in Florida, with private memorial services.
