She is the daughter of Kenneth John and Dolores Fay Mosteller Walker. She died of Atelectasis (collapse of the lungs) which led to Pneumonitis. Her death, actually my mother coming home from the funeral, is my first cognitive memory. Mom visited Shelley's gravesite the 1st and 2nd year anniversary. She found it too stressful, and she never went back again. My grandmother, Lillian Bell Denney Mosteller Rogers, did, however. Mom would give her the money for flowers, and Gram would put some on Shelley's grave and her husband and son's graves, too.
