OBITUARY OF MRS. HARRY EVINS

Funeral Services were held Saturday afternoon at the Full Gospel Church for Mrs. Harry EVINS, a resident of Perryton and Ochiltree County for 31 years, who died Thursday, January 10.

Rev. Robert Girouard of Salida, Colorado officiated at the final rites, assisted by Rev. Calvin Cook of The People's Chapel.

Pallbearers were Ancil GEORGE, Del STEVENS, Jack WOOSTER, Jim DEPEW, Roy ENFIELD, and Ronald DIEBALL.

Mrs. EVINS is survived by her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Arnold KRAUSE of Watsonville, California, Mrs. Freddie L. PEAT of Sylvia, Kansas, Mrs. J. T. CROPPER of Wichita Falls, and Mrs. Roger TANDY of Perryton; two brothers, Earl and Melvin SHUTT of Chase, Kansas, on sister; Mrs. Ida ECKHARDT of Sylvia, Kansas; five grandchildren and numerous friends.

Ada Pearl, daughter of William and Louise SHUTT, was born January 25, 1888 in Mitchell County, Kansas, near the little village of Victor, and departed this life at her home in Perryton at the age of 63 years, 11 months and 15 days.

At the age of 9 she moved with her parents to Oklahoma, about 40 miles from Woodward where she finished grade and high school. Then she attended Alva State College at Alva, Oklahoma.

After finishing her college work, she taught school for a few years. On April 12, 1912, she was united in marriage to Harry EVINS at Taloga, Oklahoma. Four daughters were born to this union.

In 1921, Mr. and Mrs. EVINS moved to Ochiltree county where they bought the Henry COFFEE land. There they made their home for many years and in 1942 moved into Perryton where she lived until the time of her death.

She was converted 23 years ago and lived a consecrated Christian life.
