She passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 at East Texas Hospice in Tyler, Texas. She was 74 years old.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Her survivors include 2 daughters; Becky Foster Martin of Wills Point, Texas and Nita Oliver Bryant of Pottsboro, Texas, and 1 son Carl Duncan. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Kenneth Burkley JR and Kevin Phillips of Athens, Texas, Kristina Burkley and Shannon Welborn of Dallas, Texas, and Nicholas Duncan of McKinney, Texas and a great grandson, Zachary Burkley of Athens, Texas.
She was preceded in death by 3 husbands; Dearl Foster, Gene Oliver and Gerald Duncan, and 1 son, Randy Nolan Foster.
Barbara was a very pleasnt person. She was a lover of life and nature. In college she took a course in Horticulture and thoroughly enjoyed watching things grow.
She enjoyed freshwater and saltwater fishing, flowers and landscape.

She grew up and practically lived her whole life in the Old Bethel Community. She loved taking care of her family and fishing.
