Nancy Conway Great Aunt of Fred King,
Killed in a buggy wreck

Nancy, wife of Geo. M. Dodd of Hickory, died on Monday, aged 84 years, 6 months and 15 days, after a severe illness.

Mrs. Dodd was the youngest daughter of Samuel and Susannah Conoway. She was born near her home at the time of her death and had always lived in Hickory.

Her husband and four children survive her. She was in all respects a model wife and mother, and the aged mother, the brothers and sisters, and the husband and children mourn their great bereavement. But not without hope, for Mrs. Dodd was a modest and earnest Christian who departed in the faith of the gospel.

The funeral was held at the new Methodist church on Wednesday. Rev. J. Guldin of Penfield, Rev. Robinson of Sabula and Director Ed. Flegal in charge. It was very fitting that the services should be held here, as Mrs. Dodd had labored most devotedly for the building of this structure.

The tuturial was in the Conoway family cemetery, and here she reposes until summoned to the resurrection.
