George Weir Webster Sr., 79, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away March 23, 2010, in Sallisaw. He was born September 15, 1930, in Muskogee, Oklahoma the son of John Seth Webster and Ethel (Weir) Webster.
He married Ethel Louise (Barrett) Webster on Sept. 21, 1950, in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Mr. Webster was Baptist and a retired maintenance worker for the Hilldale School District.
Survivors are, two daughters and one son-in-law, Kathy Webster Ruminer of Sallisaw, Oklahoma and Sheila and Joe Ihle of Warren, Michigan; two sons and one daughter-in-law, George Weir Webster Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Bob Webster of Arkana, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Michael Webster of Ardmore, Oklahoma; Danny Webster and Brittney Seward, both of Muskogee, Oklahoma; Scott Ihle of Royal Oak, Michigan; Lacy Largent of Shawnee, Kansas and Shawna Ruminer and Cody Ruminer, both of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; six great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Linda Lowe of Muskogee, Oklahoma; two sisters, Lorrane Goddard of Okay, Oklahoma and Johnnie Ashwood of Muskogee, Oklahoma; and one brother, Jerry Webster of Muskogee, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents, John and Nola Webster.
Graveside services are being held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2010 at Middleton Chapel Cemetery in Oktaha, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
