Mrs. Martha Abram Dies at Bloomington

Mrs. Martha Ellen Abram, 54, a native of Brown County, died at 12:45 last Friday morning at the Bloomington hospital where she was admitted April 13. The wife of John Abram, she resided at Eighth and Adams Street, Bloomington. She had been ill for several months suffering from complications.

She was born here May 7, 1893 to Harvey and Katherine Petro Harden. She had lived in Bloomington for the past 38 years.

In addition to the husband, she leaves two sons, Melvin and Ray Abram, both of Bloomington; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Gwinnup, of Hobart; three brothers, Leonard and Alvin Harden, of Monroe County, and Henry Harden, of near Nashville; four sisters, Mrs. Rose Mathis, Mrs. Lula Copenhaver and Mrs. Clara Mills, all of Bloomington, and Mrs. Mary Lucas, of Columbus.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Green Valley church just south of Nashville, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
