Mrs. Louise Johnson, age 92, of Italy passed away October 27, 2000 at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie. She was born June 14, 1908 to Arthur and Lela Ward Hearn in Italy.
Mrs. Johnson attended Italy schools and married J. B. Johnson in 1930 in Italy. She worked at the Elk Theater from 1925 to 1950 and later worked for Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home for 32 and a half years, retiring in 1989. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in Italy where she was the choir director for many years.
She is survived by one son, J. B. Johnson, Jr. of Italy; one daughter, LaRue Lambert of Italy; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren; one sister, Elaine Harris of Italy; four brothers, Charles Hearn of Cleburne, Jack Hearn of Malakoff, Ned Hearn of Dallas and Wade Hearn of Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Johnson, Sr. in 1958.
