Son of Bathiah Terry and Samuel Kight, who are probably buried at Boyer-Martin Cemetery in Jackson County, about a mile east of Limerick Cemetery.

Samuel Kight was son of Rhoda Palmer and John Kight.
Bathiah "Thyer" Terry was daughter of Mary Elizabeth Collins and Paul Terry. Mary Collins divorced Paul Terry and married John Kight and they went to Iowa. In Iowa the name was spelled Kite.
