Victor Robert Cralle, Sr.
Victor Robert Cralle, Sr., 72, of Hague, Va. passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2010. He was lovingly known as "Rye-Rye".
Mr. Cralle was a member and deacon of Gibeon Baptist Church, Village, Va., Past Master and Past District Deputy of Westmoreland Lodge #212, Past Patron of Betty Lewis #107 Order of the Eastern Star, a Grand Chapter Royal Arch Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a member of the Shriners. He retired from the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Annie Cralle and brother, William M. Cralle.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ruth Anne S. Cralle; daughters, Anne Lynne C. Baughan and husband, E. Arthur Baughan, Jr., Jennifer C. Pugh and husband, Herbert C. Pugh, Jr. all of Hague, Va.; son, Victor Robert Cralle, Jr. of Hague, Va.; mother in law, Ruth B. Sisson; grandchildren, Amber Baughan, Andy Baughan, Aaron Baughan and wife, Kristen, Alex Baughan, Andrea Cralle, Rachel Cralle, Tanner Cralle, Jessica Haynie, Annsley Pugh; great grandchildren, Aiden Baughan, Serenity Baughan, Lily Davis, Kelsey Baughan; and honorary grandchild Jennifer Caylor.
The family received friends on Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Jones-Ash Funeral Home, Heathsville, Va. Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at 4 p.m. at Gibeon Baptist Church, Village, Va. The service was conducted by Rev. G.C. Harbuck and Rev. David McIntire. Pallbearers were Aaron Baughan, Larry Sisson, Christpher Cralle, Larry Weedon, Steve Carr, and Gary Harrison. Burial followed with a masonic graveside service in Gibeon Baptist Church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Gibeon Baptist Church, P.O. Box 23, Village, VA. 22570.
