service will be 11 a.m. on Thurday, Dec. 9, 2010 at Behner
Funeral Home with Pastor Nate Nims officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, Ia. Visitation for family & friends will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Wilda was born in Davis County, near Floris, Iowa on Sept. 24, 1915 to John & Mabel Moore Huffman. She married Ivyl R. Ferrel on Nov.28, 1935. He passed away on Aug. 2, 1984. Wilda lived most of her life in the Libertyville Community. She like sewing and was a good seamstress for others. She also enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and puzzles and loved her family. Wilds loved chocolates and was nicknamed:"Chocolate Grandma". Wilda is survived by 3 children: Victor(Karla)Ferrel, Phillip(Rose Ann) Ferrel and Marcene McCarty, all of Fairfield, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren & 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 son: Paul Ferrel, 1 grandson, Mark Campbell, 1 son-in-law: Bob McCarty, 2 sisters: Thelma Smith & Dorothy McCleary and 3 brothers, Keith Huffman, Donald Huffman & Hollis Huffman.
