MANTI, UT., - Funeral services for Effie Ray Hansen Van Buren, 75, sister of two Utah County residents, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Manti South Ward Chapel.

She died Thursday, July 21, 1977 at her home of natural causes.

Born November 17, 1901, in Moroni, Utah to Mosiah Oscar and Mary Effie Draper Hansen. She married Eldon Taylor Van Buren in Manti on February 11, 1926. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.

An active member of the LDS Church, she served for 32 years as a temple worker in Manti. She had also been Relief Society president and held several other Church offices.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter and two sons, Mrs. Keith (ElDean) Morseth, Ogden; Eldon Rue Van Buren, Kaysville; Stewart Don Van Buren, Grantsville; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers and four sisters, Mrs. Beulah Petersen, Lone Pine, California; Della Hinkelman, Oak Dale, California; Mrs. Mary Aagard, Salem; Theressa Dickensen, Moroni; Oscar Mozel Hansen, Glendale, California; Kenneth D. Hansen, Yucca, Arizona; Miles D. Hansen, Mt. Pleasant.

Friends may call at Buchanan Morturay in Manti Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday prior to services. Burial will be in Manti City Cemetery.
