Mother of former Monmouth coach dies at hospital
Mrs. Zella B. Mull, 60 of route 2, Woodburn, mother of William (Bill) Mull, former teacher and varsity basketball coach at Monmouth high school, died at 7:25 p.m. Saturday at the Paulding county hospital, Paulding, Ohio, where she had been a patient one day.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, one son, two sisters and five brothers.
Her son, William, resides near Antwerp, O., and is a teacher and freshman basketball coach at Woodland high school. Mull was a teacher and a varsity coach at Monmouth in the late 1960’s.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodburn United Methodist Union Church, with burial in Gar Creek cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the E. Harper & Son funeral home, New Haven, and Tuesday at the church until services.
