After the death of her husband John in 1934, Mary Sue and her family moved from Denison, TX to Dallas, TX. In 1937 they moved to Los Angeles, CA.
OBITUARY:
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery for Mrs. Mary Sue Briggs, who died in Hollywood, Calif. in January, 1949. Arrangments are under the direction of Bratcher-Moore funeral home, and the service will be conducted by the Rev. Ronald Prince, pastor of Park Side Baptist Church. Mrs. Briggs was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
Among the survivors are three sons, Clyde Briggs, Sacramento, Calif., Morris Briggs, Hollywood, Calif., and Roy Briggs, Portland, Ore.; and two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Heath, Spokane, Wash., and Miss Myrtle Briggs, Hollywood, Calif.
