The death of John Fitzpatrick occurred in Columbus at the home of a son last Monday. The deceased was formerly a resident of this place. He was 72 years of age on October 8, 1875. He was united in marriage to Margaret S Sharp, to this union was born a son, Samuel, and a daughter Alta. His wife died here about twelve years ago. The body was brought here Tuesday and the funeral held on Wednesday, at the home of Henry Huffman. Rev NY Mathews conducted the service. Interment was made in the cemetery north of town.
