Harry was the son of Rollie Roscoe Sumner and Glyna Estelle Bedwell Sumner. Harry married Martha Elizabeth Altmeyer June 6, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana (Martha is listed on findagrave under the name of Martha Rose, buried Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN). Harry and Martha had a daughter,Sharon Kay. They also had a son, Ronald Louis. Harry was the beloved grandfather of Kimberly Estelle, Teresa Lynn (Teresa is listed on findagrave under Teresa Lynn (Traci) Fields (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/5026580/teresa-lynn-fields) buried St. Mary Cemetery, Hamilton County, OH, St. Bernard, OH), and Charles R.(Chuck)Fields (Harry passed away before Chuck was born, but he would have been as crazy about him as he was of Kim and Traci). Great-grandfather of Sean Donovan, John and Collin Fields. (Unfortunately, he passed away before Sean, John, and Collin were born. He would have been a wonderful, loving grandfather to the boys). He was a very loving person who was devoted to his family. I think he inherited his caring and sensitivity for other people from his mother. He has been in my heart and in my thoughts thousands of times since he passed. I have missed him in the good times, as well as in the bad times! He left this world for a better one at the young age of 53.

Harry has been proven to be a 3rd greatgrandson of a Revolutionary War soldier (Robert Thomas Bedwell, born 1759, Delaware - died 1842, Sullivan Co., IN. Robert is buried in Moody Cemetery, Sullivan County, IN., and is listed on findagrave).
