Last rites for Mrs. Grace May Swann, 78, Gallipolis, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Miller funeral home, with the Rev. Joseph C. Chapman officiating assisted by the Rev. John CROMWELL. Burial will be in the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Huntington. Mrs. Swann, the wife of the former Huntington mayor[,] the late Claude Swann, who died July 3, 1959, died Wednesday night in the University Hospital in Columbus. One of nine children of the late Taylor and America Clark Cornell, she was born in Harrison Twp. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Claude Swann, Point Pleasant; a daughter, Mrs. Herman (Virginia) Clark, Crown City; two sisters, Mrs. Roxie Patterson and Mrs. Ruby Unroe, Crown City; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
