She was the daughter of John Huske Jr. (1786-1848) and Johanna Jenckes Tillinghast (1789-1815) whom are buried at Cross Creek Cemetery at Fayetteville. John Huske Jr., her father, was President of the Second Bank of the United States, Fayetteville Branch (1823-35). On 25 May 1836 she married Dr. Benj. West Robinson and they had four children.
