John D Reed
John D. Reed of R.D. 1, Water-
ford, died yesterday at his resi-
dence after a short illness. He was
born in Cohoes and was employed
Wilmington, and Regis Manufacturing Co.
Mr Reed was President of the Crescent
Union Cemetery Association. He is
survived by his wife, the former
Eva Helen Shaw, two daughters.
Mrs. Edward Kenney of Cohoes and
Mrs. Paul Dworak of Clifton Park;
two sons, Harry R. Reed of Crescent
and Dean A. Reed of Cohoes;
a sister, Mrs. Michael Carey of
Troy; two brothers. Albert and Edward
Reed of Cohoes and eight
grandchildren. Funeral services
will be held at the residence at 2
p.m. Monday with Rev. Pohn M.
Mitchell, pastor of Petersburg
Methodist Church, officiating. In-
terment will be ln Crescent Union Cemetery.
