Edith L. Odle, 91, of 229 Carl St., Winchester, died at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at Randolph Nursing Home, Winchester.
A 1928 graduate of McKinley High School, Odle attended Ball State University in Muncie. She was a Stanley Home Products dealer for over 50 years. She was also employed by the Indiana Licence Bureau and worked on the board of review in Randolph County. Odle was a charter member of the Phi Delta Kappa Ladies Club and a member of Women of the Moose Chapter # 1618 and the American Legion Auxiliary, all of Winchester. She was also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary in Union City, Ind. Odle was a member of the Wintoga Club, and the Senior Citizen Coalition of Indiana. She attended Deerfield United Methodist Church, Ridgeville.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha Jane Odle of Union City, Ind., and Ruth Ann (husband Robert) Price of Connersville; one brother, Carlton (wife Frances) Keys of Winchester; two granddaughters , April (husband Brian) Hanaway and Kitty Eley, both of Union City, Ind; one great-granddaughter, Sierra Hanaway of Union City, Ind.; one great-grandson, DaKota Hanaway of Union City, Ind.; and several neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl SW. Odle; one sister, Helen Bunsold; and one brother, Kenneth Keys.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Walker Funeral Home, Winchester with Dr. Kenneth Rickett officiating.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p. m. Thursday at the funeral home . Women of the Moose will conduct a Lodge of Sorrow service Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
