FRITCH - Funeral services for Luther James Kelley [sic], 65, Ponderosa Estates, Fritch, are at 4 p.m. Wednesday from Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leo McMahan, pastor of the Central Baptist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Kelly died at 11:45 p.m Saturday at North Plains Hospital after a long illness. He was born June 15, 1907 in Findlay, Ohio.

He was employed by Phillips Petroleum Co. 34 years, before retirement. He had been an area resident for 30 years and was a member of the Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Lanora Owens, McAlaster, Okla.; 2 sons, Richard, Austin, Tex.; Loren, WTSU, Canyon; 2 sisters, Mrs. F.E. Painter, Artesia, N.M.; Mrs. S.J. Chesnut, Mt. Pleasant, Mich.; and 4 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be H.W. DeShields, A.D. DeShields, R.A. Ramsey, W.E. Ford, Jack Whitten, and Clovis Womack. Honorary pallbearers are the Rice Plant employes.
