D.E. "Buddy" Langston, 83, of Borger, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 1994, in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.

A retired employee of Panhandle Pipe & Steel, Mr. Langston was a native of Union Parrish, La., and a Borger resident for 65 years.

He was a Baptist. Mr. Langston and Sue Martin were married Nov. 8, 1936 in Borger. Mr. Langston also raised many children in his home throughout the years.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Retha Langston, in 1970.

Survivors include his wife, Sue; one son, James Wayne Langston, of Grand Junction, Colo.; two daughters, Cherri Meek and Janet Langston, both of Dallas; two sisters, Leola Rising, of Borger, and Docia Plumlee, of San Angelo; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Langston died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 1994 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

A native of Union Parrish, La., he had been a Borger resident for 65 years. He was a retired manager of Panhandle Pipe & Steel, and was a Baptist.

He married Sue Martin Nov. 8, 1936 in Borger.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Retha Langston in 1970.

Survivors include his wife; a son, James Wayne Langston of Grand Junction, Colo.; two daughters, Cherri Meek and Janet Langston, both of Dallas; two sisters, Leola Rising of Borger; and Docia Plumlee of San Angelo; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He also raised several children in his home.

Pallbearers will be Kel Seliger, Louis Seliger, Al Harvey, Eddie Brame, Dondi Brame, and Les Compton.
