Suddenly, on Tuesday, March 6, 1962, at Washington, D.C., Alvin E. Monteith of 4006 Lawrence st., Brentwood, Md., beloved husband of Edna M. Monteith, father of Mrs. Bernice A. Eldert of Falls Church, Va.; brother of J. Curtis Monteith of Rockville, Md., Richard Monteith of Charlotte, N.C., and Willis Monteith of Florida; Mrs. Joyce Warr of Smithfield, N.C., and Mrs. Nina Davis of Toccoa, Ga. He is also survived by one grandson, Jeff Eldert. Interment Union Cemetery, Leesburg, Va.
