If it weren't for my dear Aunt Yvonne, we would not have been blessed to adopt my son, in 1982. She always had a big heart, and she took in a friend of her daughter, Cynthia. The woman had lost her job, was 7 months pregnant, living in her car, and the car was being repossessed because she couldn't afford the payments. She told us that she was raped. She didn't know who the Father was and told my Aunt that she never wanted any children, and that she was just going to leave the baby at the hospital. Since she told my Aunt, that she asked if she would consider allowing her niece and her husband to adopt the baby. She agreed. We paid all her medical expenses, and she kept her word, and allowed us to adopt him. God blessed me with a good-hearted Aunt, who tried to help others. And...a beautiful baby boy.
Poor Aunt Yvonne suffered from Alzheimer's Disease. She resided with her son Edward Harry Levesque in Houston, TX up until he could no longer care for her, and she was moved to Garden Terrace Alzheimer's Center in Houston, Texas.
