Jockers, Robert Michael "Bobby" 59, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010. Bob was born in New York City to parents Thomas and Agnes Jockers. He retired from the New York City Police Department and moved to Florida to be close to his father after his mother passed away. He began a second career as an attorney after graduating from Stetson Law School. Bob's passions were his family and friends, music and golf. He combined those passions when he performed, entertaining many with his solo guitar performances. Bob was preceded in death by his niece, Erin Jockers. Bob is survived by his father and stepmother, Thomas and Dolores of St. Petersburg; brothers, Thomas Jr. and his wife, Linda; nephew Ryan of Connecticut; Michael and his wife, Michelle; niece Tiffany, nephew Tommy of St. Petersburg; sisters, Nancy Angel and her husband, Dave; nephews Bobby and Dan; Carol Boulay and her husband, Joe; nephews Barrett and Bryson of St. Petersburg. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM at Anderson McQueen Family Tribute Center, 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N. with a funeral mass on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 9 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 200-78th Avenue NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to The Children's Dream Fund, P.O.
