Father of playwright Maj Mordecai Manuel NoahEmanuel Noah or Manuel was a Patriot of the American Revolution, serving as a Private in the 3rd Battalion of the Pennsylvanian Troops. He is also the father of Mordecai Manuel Noah, known as the first American proto-Zionist, as well as being an author, playwright, journalist, editor and political figure.
