Nancy Smith Blackwell went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 20,2010 at the age of 89.. She was born in Wake Forest, NC and was a childhood member of Falls Baptist Church in Falls of the Neuse Community and began teaching Sunday school at the age of 14.. She and her husband Elmwood joined First Baptist Church of Chase City in Virginia 1949..She taught Sunday school until 1979 and was involved in the women's Missionary Union until the present..her husband and son are left to cherish her memories along with many friends and family..
