Earl J. "Jay" Rose, III of Ocala went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2010 at his residence under the loving care of family and Marion County Hospice. Born on March 4, 1953 in Upstate, New York and was a Born Again Christian and Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps who served in the post Vietnam era. Mr. Rose was a Groundskeeper for the Silver Springs Country Club of Ocala, FL. He was a meek and gentile man who spoke with a loving spirit and always thought of others first. Earl was a former local baseball and softball player and enjoyed participating in athletic activities.
Survived by his loving wife of 18 years: Sandra L. Rose of Ocala, FL.; two sons: Rodger Lower and wife Paula of Kingsland, Ga., and Andrew Lower and wife Cindy of Jacksonville, FL.; three daughters: Deanna D. Gramps and husband Anthony , Teanna D. Lower and Emily Rose, all of Ocala, FL.; (13) Grandchildren; (13) Great-Grandchildren.
Graveside Funeral Services will be on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 3:30PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala, Fl.
