Services for Bessie Lester Hart will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Entombment will be private. Hart died Thursday, Feb. 19, 1998. A graduate of Wesleyan College, she was a founding member of the Middle Georgia Historical Society. She was a member of the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, was a past circle president and was a former Sunday School teacher.
Survivors include her children, Lester H. Mallary of Fernandina Beach, Fla., Elsie H. Love of Memphis, Tenn., and John Hart III of Monroe County; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
The family may be contacted at 340 College St. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Hospice of Central Georgia, P.O. Box 6533, Macon. Ingleside Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
