Mrs. Frantz was bom April 11, 1940 in Big Run, the daughter of Cash and Virginia K. (White) Smith. She was married to Edward Frantz on March 30,1974.
She was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Edward Frantz; one son, Bradley E. Smith of Punxsutawney R.D. 5; one daughter. Ginger A. Frantz, at home; two step-children: Edward L. Frantz, at home, and Mrs. Dale (Annette) Bowles of Aubumdale, Fla.; four grandchildren; and seven brothers: Walter Ernest Smith of Big Run, George Smith of Lynchburg, Va., Paul Smith of Franklin, Marlin Smith of Punxsutawney R.D. 4, Francis Smith of Punxsutawney R.D. 5, Norman Smith of Punxsutawney R.D. 5, and Sam Smith of Punxsutawney R.D. 5.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Deelcy Funeral Home of Punxsutawney. The Rev. Edd Myers will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Froslburg.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
