Freeman Hart, III, Dies in Hospital
Funeral Services at Noon Today for 20-Day-Old Boy
J. Freeman Hart, III, died in a local infirmary at 6:15 o'clock yesterday morning after an illness of about five days. He became seriously ill last Thursday night and his condition steadily grew worse.
He was the 20-day-old son of the former Miss Bessie Lester of Quincy, Fla., and J. Freeman Hart, Jr., of 114 Buford Place. Mrs. Hart was graduated from the Wesleyan college in 1931.
He is survived by his parents, Bessie Lester Hart and J. Freeman Hart Jr.,; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Lester of Quincy, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. J. Freeman Hart, of Macon; great grandparents, Mr. And Mrs Charles Eddy and Mrs. Duncan Lester of Quincy, Fla., and John C. Gibson of Macon; aunt, Mrs. Robert Bruce Jones of Macon; an uncle, William Lester of Quincy, Fla., and several great uncles and aunts, among whom are Jesse B. Hart and Mrs. D. A. Warlick of Macon, Mrs. Frank Pittman of Griffin.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Hart's mortuary at noon today. Dr. J. Ellis Sammons, pastor of the Vineville Baptist Church and Bishop W. N. Ainsworth will officiate and interment will be in the Hart private mausoleum in Riverside cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Walter Burke, Freeman Warlick, Henry Lowe, B. F. Merritt, B. F. Guttenbeger, T. O. Harris, Melvin Yates and Robert Kingman.
