In January, 1955, The Rev. Homer C. Carrier arrived from Minnesota. On his arrival, Father Carrier was faced with a Church that had dwindling attendance and lack of funds. The Church's very survival was, in fact, in jeopardy.

Under Father Carrier's leadership through the coming years, membership expanded rapidly. The number of communicants in good standing for the year 1964 was 426. A new rectory was purchased and the former rectory was converted to a parish hall. Then in December 1961, a new Parish Hall was completed, dedicated, and named to honor Father Carrier.
