Joseph F. Fesler, 85, of Frankton, died March20, 2005, at Communtiy Northview Care Center in Anderson.
He was born July 19, 1919 in Elwood, the son of Elmer Frank and Theodosha (Leonard) Fesler. He married Louise (Glover) on July 20, 1940; she survives.
He was retired from Wishard Memorial Hospital of Indiana in the engineering dept. He was a member of Frankton Christian Church and the Frankton Lions Club. Joe was an avid musician and loved playing the four string banjo.
He is survived by his wife Louise (Glover) Fesler of Frankton; son, Leonard (Judy) Fesler of Anderson; daughters, Joan Smith of Redlands, Calif. and Bonnie Skelton of Anderson; sister Frances Fleet of Anderson; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home, Frankton, with the Rev. Al Covell officiating. Interment will follow in Knights of Pythias (K of P) & IOOF Cemetery in Frankton.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
